Sem 3 holiday..

Remember my previous post where i said work hard for EOS and we will be rewarded for it?? Yes obviously.. After a month of suffering and 'lau sai-ing' ( what we called EOS syndrome) , it is yet again time for us to enjoy or de-stress.. whatever....

This time we decided to pay a visit to TAIPING... Yes, TAIPING... Why?? because KC stays there mar... Taiping is not as boring as what you guys think.. But visit once is more that enough.. lol.. just like sarawak....

So, what do we have in Taiping?

There are a lot of 'number one' here.. First post office, first fire station, first lake garden and bla bla bla.. sorry i cannot remember much.. maklumlah orang Taiping memang kiasu.... wanna be first in everything..

We went up to Bukit Larut aka Maxwell Hill.. i wonder if they have ever thought of saying this is the first hill in malaysia... lol...... i love the ride in a jeep.. some says it is like roller coaster ride, some says it is dangerous but i say it is fun... :)

Up on the hill, there was nothing much we can do.. only had a 'sesi berbonding' according to Janning... The scenery there was fantastic... Even artistes came here for photo sessions.. Guess who... hmm.....

Some people also say Taiping very ulu and kampung.. I think it is because they saw these few people... six nerds including the one holding the camera conquering bukit larut..

We also went to a memorial park which again i have forgotten the name... Don't kill me KC.. i have short memory.. blame it on IMU...

Next destination, Taiping zoo.. This time it is not number one in the country but number two.. the second largest after zoo negara... As usual, we were in the zoo for the animals to see.. Nothing special.. But one thing for sure is that all the animals here are obese..

The next morning, before we left, we went to Taiping lake.. Again, it is number one... *_* It is the first lake garden in Malaysia... What so special?? Lake lor.. what else... haha.... it is a lake left behind after people mined tin there.. The lake has some kind of attraction towards the tree... Or should i say the trees along the road are attracted to the lake.. Anything.... weird but true... That makes Taiping lake special... lol...

While strolling in the garden i found this particular tree... hmm.... suitable for 'syok sendiri people' like us to pose...

Rate those who posed the most... i think first should go to Mr Kean Ping with his 'pull the collar' pose... second went to chi lun who sat on the tree like Monalisa.. third went to Wei wen... KC said he looked like another tree... wei ping and me... hmm... normal post lar.. standing and sitting there like a tree trunk..

After Taiping we left for Penang where we had seafood lunch at Tambun...

At Tambun, i tried two new seafood which i have never taken before... The first was 'baliktong' aka cucut and the second was 'lai liu ha' aka 'peeing prawn'.. hmm... thanks to kean ping and wei ping who brought us there...

After lunch, the penangites introduced autocity to chilun and wei wen.... Then they went back to KL while i continued with my journey to Penang island to meet xin ni.. Managed to spend some time with her before i came back to my hometown... Shop a lot eat a lot there...

And finally, i am home now in Kuching.. Home sweet home....
